Dapoxetine and Combination Drugs

This medicine was first developed as an antidepressant, as it belongs to the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) family of drugs. These chemicals regulate the amount and action of serotonin, a special substance naturally occurring in the human central nervous system and considered to be responsible for mood and feeling of happiness, among other things. It has also been found out that modulation of serotonin at brain synapses can be used to treat PE. There have been many other SSRI antidepressants that have been proposed as suitable medication for the condition.
